Laurie Vodnoy-Wright came to Florida to perform with the Florida Orchestra from Chicago where she  receieved her M.M. in Violin Performance from Chicago Music College studying with Adia Ghertzovici and Victor Aitay, Concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony, and  Isaac Stern. She received her Undergraduate degree from Indiana Unversity studying with Machie Kudo.  After Concertizing  with the Avanti String Quartet in Michigan  and leading the Midwest Chamber Orchestra she continued her career with the Florida Orchestra. 

Laurie Vodnoy-Wright is Co-Founder and Violinist with the Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota. She has performed throughout the United States, Austria and Israel. She has performed with the Florida Orchestra, Sarasota Opera, Tampa Opera, Lexington Opera, Kentucky Opera, Florida Opera West, Midwest Chamber Orchestra, Nashville Symphony, Lexington Philharmonic, Twin City Symphony, Kalamazoo Symphony, South Bend Symphony, Elkart Symphony, Battle Creek Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, and the Venice Symphony.  She currently performs with the Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota and the Avanti String Quartet.
